Die behandelten Autoren reichen von Plutarch und Dion von Prusa, Epiktet und Maximos von Tyros, Lukian und Galen über Philon von Alexandrien, die Qumran-Texte und die Sapientia Salomonis bis hin zu Justin, Tatian und der hermetischen Literatur, Salustios, Julian und Libanios.
