Synopsis
The new editing of the Stratego series offers spelling exercises that allow students of secondary school I to develop spelling strategies specifically and independently.
Independent learning is encouraged with the help of basic working techniques of spelling teaching (lookup, finding and correcting mistakes, word list, write-off, partner dictation). Self-control of the learning success for the students is guaranteed both by the inserted solution part and by competence checks at the end of an exercise session.
In order to take account of the increasingly heterogeneous student body, differentiation tasks are offered in places for more powerful students.
Each volume is preceded by a brief explanation of the concept of the series, which serves both teachers and students as instructions for working with Stratego.
