Synopsis
When we speak of European literature, we think of German, Scandinavian, Italian, Spanish and French literature. We definitely think of Russian literature, sometimes even Polish and Hungarian. But do we think of those from South-Eastern Europe? To the novels, narratives and poems from the former Yugoslavia? A few have made it to us in the German-speaking region: Aleksandar Tišma, Danilo Kiš, Bora Cosic and David Albahari, but there are still too few and above all many young authors have moved along who are completely unknown in this country. To broaden the view, the Neue Rundschau collects texts of the younger generation, especially from Serbia.
