By bringing together methodologies, theoretical approaches and concepts usually reserved to one or the other critical context, this bilingual collection of texts of Comparing Migration (the result of a general call for papers) displays the differences but also the connections between French and English contemporary writing in Canada.

About the Author

Les responsables de la publication: Marie Carrière est professeure agrégée d'études françaises à l'Université du Nouveau-Brunswick. Elle est l'auteure de Writing in the Feminine in French and English Canada. Elle a publié plusieurs articles sur l'écriture migrante, la théorie féministe et l'écriture féminine.
Catherine Khordoc est professeure adjointe au Département de français de l'Université Carleton. Elle a publié plusieurs articles sur l'écriture migrante, entre autres, et s'intéresse notamment à la figure du mythe de Babel.
The Editors: Marie Carrière is an associate professor of French at the University of New Brunswick. She is the author of Writing in the Feminine in French and English Canada. She has published several articles on migrant writing, feminist theory and women's writing.
Catherine Khordoc is an assistant professor of French at Carleton University. She has published several articles on migrant writing and takes particular interest in the figure of the mythical Babel.
