Roland Buti vit à Lausanne. Récompensé par de nombreux prix littéraires, son roman Le Milieu de l'horizon (Zoé, 2013) a été traduit en sept langues et adapté au cinéma. Grand National, traduit en italien et en allemand, a été lauréat du prix Lettres frontière 2020.
