This title delves into the field of light - be it natural or artificial - that is being employed by architects, interior designers and lighting designers to revitalize structures. An introduction looking into the relationship between architecture and light over the centuries leads the reader into the individual case studies. The projects are diverse, with contributions from such renowned "lighting architects" as Jonathan Speirs (UK), Ingo Maurer (Germany) and Motoko Ishii (Japan).
