Synopsis
Robert Frank et Alfred Leslie réalisent le moyen-métrage Pull My Daisy en 1959, à partir d'un scénario original de Jack Kerouac. Inspiré d'un texte inédit du poète de la Beat Generation qui retrace une soirée chez Neal Cassady, Pull My Daisy décrit la rencontre, chez un cheminot et sa femme, de leurs amis poètes avec un évêque, sa mère et sa soeur. Les beatniks vont progressivement perturber le dîner qui finira par devenir extrêmement comique. Avec une introduction de Patrice Rollet, deux entretiens avec Robert Frank et Alfred Leslie, un commentaire critique de Jack Sargeant et 70 photographies de plateau de John Cohen.
