About the Author

Peter Caine has lived in Paris for twenty years. In 1994 he and his wife founded Paris Walks, and have devoted the last ten years to researching and creating guided walks that cover the history, art and architecture of the capital. In 2003 Peter and Oriel Caine published their book Paris Then and Now (Thunder Bay Press), which compares the past and the present of the city.
