About the Author

Acurator and author, Michaela Lindinger studied journalism, communication science, political science, Egyptology, prehistory and early history at the University of Vienna. A curatorial assistant since 1995, she has been a curator at the Wien Museum since 2004. She has created exhibitions and publications on a variety of subjects: biographical and social themes, women's history, gender history, Vienna's urban history, portraits, death and memoria, and fashion.
