About the Author
Philippe Besson est un écrivain, scénariste et dramaturge. En l'absence des hommes , son premier roman, publié en 2001, est couronné par le Prix Emmanuel-Roblès. Depuis lors, il construit une oeuvre au style à la fois sobre et raffiné. Il est l'auteur, entre autres, de Son frère , adapté au cinéma par Patrice Chéreau, L'Arrière-Saison (Grand Prix RTL-Lire), Un garçon d'Italie et La Maison atlantique . En 2017, il publie " Arrête avec tes mensonges " , couronné par le Prix Maison de la Presse. Il revient à l'autofiction en 2019 avec Un certain Paul Darrigrand puis Dîner à Montréal . Ses romans sont traduits dans vingt langues.
