Synopsis
LES GRANDS TEXTES DU XXe SIECLE Au cours d'un dîner, Lucile rencontre Antoine, jeune éditeur parisien. Leur complicité se transforme vite en une fougueuse passion. Or, Lucile vit avec Charles, quinquagénaire élégant et fortuné qui l'entoure d'un amour désintéressé. Malgré sa profonde affection pour lui, lorsque Antoine lui demande de choisir, elle décide de quitter Charles. " Vous me reviendrez. Je n'ai qu'à attendre. " Charles n'en doute pas. Parce qu'il aime cette femme-enfant pour elle-même et non pour lui. Parce qu'il sait qu'un jour Antoine lui reprochera ses faiblesses et ses défauts. Parce qu'il sait aussi que l'amour sans argent ne fait pas le bonheur. Il entend déjà la " chamade ", ce roulement de tambour qui annonce les défaites...

En 1954, à la sortie de son premier roman, Bonjour tristesse , on entendait pour la première fois la voix sèche et rapide d'un " charmant petit monstre " de dix-huit ans, qui allait faire scandale et devenir vite l'un des monstres sacrés de la littérature française. Françoise Sagan a publié de son vivant une quarantaine de textes, romans, pièces de théâtre, nouvelles et scénarios. Elle s'est éteinte en 2004, à l'âge de soixante-neuf ans.
