Synopsis
Jusqu'à l'été de ses dix-huit ans, tout le séparait de son père, un séducteur impénitent, sûr de lui, et qui s'était surtout illustré par son absence. Alors quand père et fils se trouvent enfin réunis dans la maison familiale, face à l'océan, l'occasion semble propice à la réconciliation. Mais en huis clos, les rancoeurs enfouies peuvent resurgir, le souvenir d'une disparue remonter à la surface. About the Author
Depuis Son frère,publié en 2001 et adapté dans la foulée par le réalisateur Patrice Chéreau, Philippe Besson, auteur d'une douzaine de romans dont L'Arrière-saison, Une bonne raison de se tueret De là, on voit la mer,est devenu un des auteurs incontournables de sa génération. Il a par ailleurs écrit le scénario de Mourir d'aimer(2009), interprété par Muriel Robin, de La Mauvaise rencontre (2010) avec Jeanne Moreau et de Nos retrouvailles(2012) avec Fanny Ardant. Après La Maison atlantique, il signe son nouveau roman, Vivre vite, aux éditions Julliard.
