Père de famille, militant catholique, chef de la Résistance d'une vaste région, déporté, président du Comité patriotique français de Dachau, homme de gouvernement indéfectiblement fidèle au général de Gaulle, Edmond Michelet, partout et toujours, dans la paix comme dans la guerre et jusque dans l'enfer, s'est révélé homme de foi, d'espérance et de charité - un saint, ont pu dire ses compagnons de Dachau. C'est cet homme-là, qui fut son père, que Claude Michelet fait revivre ici. Avec émotion, avec simplicité et honnêteté, sans jamais élever le ton ni emboucher les trompettes de la renommée. Sur le ton qui s'impose pour parler d'un homme qui fut courage tranquille, fidélité et modestie.
