Synopsis
Trahison, orgueil, courage et vengeance sont au coeur de cette célèbre chanson de geste écrite à la fin du XIe siècle par un poète anonyme et proposée ici dans une adaptation d'Anne-Marie Cadot-Colin, en lien avec l'objet d'étude " Devenir héroïne/héros : destins romanesques " du nouveau programme de français en 5e. S'inspirant de faits historiques remontant au VIIIe siècle, la Chanson de Roland raconte comment Roland, neveu et baron de Charlemagne, a péri au cours d'une embuscade tendue par les Sarrasins alors qu'il passait, avec son armée, le col de Roncevaux, dans les Pyrénées.
