Vincent Chabault est maître de conférences en sociologie à l'université Paris Descartes - Sorbonne Paris Cité et membre du Centre de recherche sur les liens sociaux (Cerlis-CNRS). Sa thèse sur la Fnac a été distinguée en 2009 par le prix Le Monde de la recherche universitaire.
