Synopsis
Arthur déteste Charleville, cette ville de province grise et triste où il est né un jour de 1854, et où il vit avec sa mère et ses deux sœurs. Alors, pour tromper la monotonie des jours, Arthur dévore livre après livre. Et puis, il rêve d'un oiseau multicolore, bleu, vert, rouge, qu'il appelle Baou et qui lui inspire des poèmes. Car Arthur se fiche d'être un élève modèle. Il veut être poète, même si c'est être voyou... Biographie ou roman ? Ce livre est ce qu'on appelle plutôt une biographie romancée. Il nous raconte l'histoire particulière de la vie d'un poète génial du 19e siècle, vue par un auteur du 20e siècle.

About the Author
Née en 1958, à Fès (Maroc), Sarah Cohen-Scali est parisienne depuis l'âge de deux ans. Après des études de lettres et de philosophie, elle se lance dans le théâtre, puis l'écriture de romans pour la jeunesse. Elle a publié une vingtaine de livres pour la jeunesse et pour adultes.
