Synopsis

What is life like after being completely broken? Living through trauma can be devastating, but remember, there is beauty in tragedy. This collection of poetry was compiled with the intent of helping readers like you. To display the realities of anxiety, depression, self-harm, PTSD. To shed light on suffering in the shadows. No one deserves to lose their sense of self, their voice, their life. Courage, however, is never lost, even in the depths of our tortured souls. There is always a time to break free. This is my time. My journey. My story. My truth. This is my poetic aftermath.

"In the Shadows of Suffering is a raw and courageous collection of poetry that shines a light into the darkest corners of trauma, offering hope, honesty, and healing to anyone navigating the pain of anxiety, PTSD, or self-loss — a moving testament to survival and the quiet strength within us all." – NewInBooks.com
