About the Author

Andrew Wetmore trained as a performer, but concluded relatively early that his skills did not match his enthusiasm in a way that would support a professional acting career. Instead, he has spent decades working with community theatres and regional playwrights. He was the founding chairperson of Dramatists' Co-op, an initiative by the Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia to improve the quality and increase the visibility of Nova Scotia-written scripts. For many years he was artistic director of Moveable Feast Theatre, which performed in Quebec and Massachusetts. He founded and coordinated MVP (Merrimack Valley Playwrights), where writers in northern Massachusetts could hear trained actors read their scripts and get constructive feedback from their writing and acting colleagues. Wetmore was born in Nova Scotia, and has returned to the province after many years 'down the road.' He is the editor for Moose House Publications, and for the infrastructure team of the Apache Software Foundation.
