Synopsis

Her job is going nowhere. Her marriage is on the rocks. She's at a crossroads in her life and doesn't know what to do about it.

When her estranged mother passes away, Kathy Klein leaves her Vancouver home and returns to the town she left two decades earlier. She's planning to stay just long enough to dispose of her mother's personal belongings. Then she discovers she is the rightful heir to a valuable property, but she'll have to fight a powerful cult to claim it. That will take time.

As she settles into the old house, long-repressed memories begin to surface. They're not happy ones. Pillerton is a tangled knot of evil secrets, and the house she grew up in is in the center of the knot.

She escaped once. It may be too late to escape again.
