About the Author

My name is Ms. Diane M. Baxter Trapeni. I have been an Elementary Reading and Special Education teacher for 40+ years and have read thousands of books aloud to children. I enjoyed that so much I decided to write to you myself. My books now number past 180 and my wonderful illustrators are drawing as fast as they can to get the stories to you. I will be telling you about the next book at the end of each book so stay tuned. As a child I did not apply myself to reading a lot until 6th grade.
