Synopsis

This is the first story of the little known Lumpy Gingerbread Man, the Gingerbread Man's brother. The Lumpy Gingerbread Man has a similar journey to the traditional Gingerbread man , but he escapes the fox. The Lumpy Gingerbread Man is bound to appear somewhere near you in a park or garden as he has lots of adventures! This story was first devised to create a platform for nursery children to take indoor literature into outdoor play and creativity. The children went outside and built houses for the lumpy gingerbread man, and devised stories and play around him. This even involved children digging a river for the lumpy gingerbread man to jump over. A good book for Forest school activity.
