About the Author

Phyllis Uzelac was born and raised in Gary, Indiana and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in nursing, furthering her education at the University of St. Francis. She is married to Ted Uzelac and has two sons, two daughter in laws and three grandchildren. Growing up, she enjoyed thrilling her siblings with her storytelling and is now writing some of her tales to share with the world.
