Steven Doan started participating in math competitions in fifth grade. He finished first place individual in Hawaii in the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) (2015, 2016, 2017). He was an American Invitational Mathematical Examination (AIME) Qualifier (2017). He is a MATHCOUNTS Nationals Alumnus (2015, 2016). He captured first place individual in Hawaii for the MATHCOUNTS State Competition (2016). He scored in the 99th Percentile in the SAT, the PSAT, and the ACT (2016). In addition, Steven earned perfect scores on the math section of the ACT and the PSAT. As a ninth grader, he scored perfect 5s on the AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics exams. Steven is currently a high school sophomore from Houston, Texas. Jesse Doan started participating in math competitions in sixth grade. He was a United States of America Math Olympiad (USAMO) Qualifier (2017) and a United States of America Junior Math Olympiad (USAMO) Qualifier (2015). He finished first place individual in Hawaii for the American Invitational Mathematical Examination (AIME) (2015, 2017). He was awarded first place individual in Hawaii for the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) (2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017). He is a MATHCOUNTS Nationals Alumnus (2012, 2013). He captured first place individual in Hawaii for the MATHCOUNTS State Competition (2013). In addition, Jesse earned perfect scores on the math section of the SAT and the PSAT. As an eighth grader, he scored a perfect 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam. He is from the island of Maui, Hawaii and will be attending Stanford University in the fall of 2017.
