About the Author

Robert Skoglund, perhaps better known as “The humble Farmer,” lives in St. George, Maine where he was born, brought up, and still lives. humble has been profiled in Yankee magazine and featured in a Boston Herald cover story, which called him “New England’s answer to Garrison Keillor.” A tireless recorder of dry wit, humble’s humor has appeared in over fifty newspapers. In addition, he has shared his wit and wisdom on countless public stages as well as at professional meetings where he was the after dinner speaker. For over twenty-nine years humble’s radio program, “The humble Farmer,” featured “old-fashioned music” and humorous social commentary, and was broadcast on public radio in Maine and elsewhere.
