Holly Murtaugh grew up in the small town of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, where she still lives today with her husband, son, and their silver Labrador, Rufus. Inspired by a family trip to the Outer Banks, Holly began imagining the adventures Rufus might have if he befriended a clever little crab named Reggie. Those daydreams became The Adventures of Rufus & Reggie, her debut children's book.A lifelong lover of animals, adventure, and heartwarming stories, Holly enjoys creating tales that make children laugh while celebrating kindness, courage, friendship, and connection.
