About the Author

Pat Donahue was born in Halstead, Kansas in 1943. He worked as a public interest lawyer most of his life. He is married to a wonderful woman and has two stepsons and five step grandchildren. He has been active in Boy Scouts, in community service, in professional and civic organizations. He has a degree in chemistry and a master's degree in physical science. He joined the U.S. Marine Reserves in college. After college he went on active duty in the Marines and served in Vietnam in 1969. He left the Marines with the rank of captain. After the war he taught English as a second language in Lima, Peru. He returned to the U.S. and worked as an engineer for Boeing. He went to law school at the University of Kansas on the GI Bill. His experiences in college, the Marines, and living as an ex-pat in South America were turning points in his life. He enjoys family, traveling, spending time outdoors, playing the guitar, good music, theater, and literature. In his spare time, he tries to think straight and keep up with advancing technology. He believes that over time, good always overcomes evil and that it is our duty as human beings to make this happen. Good has no limits but evil is finite.
