Synopsis
Two women never meet, but their lives collide. Ulrike is an East German immigrant and Stasi survivor who still struggles with the effects of the totalitarian regime on her psyche. Ruth is a California chemist with secrets in her family who just lost her father under mysterious circumstances and is witnessing her mother’s descent into alcoholism. About the Author
A. Molotkov is an immigrant writer. His poetry collections are " The Catalog of Broken Things," " Application of Shadows," " Synonyms for Silence" and " Future Symptoms" . His novel " A Bag Full of Stones" deals with hate crime in 2019 America. His collection of ten short stories, " Interventions in Blood," is part of Hawaii Review Issue 91; he co-edits The Inflectionist Review. He plays the Armenian duduk and takes photos with mirrors.
