LIFE LINES: Verses for Reflection and Recovery is a treasured collection of inspirational verses of love and hope written by Jan Shaw King from her personal healing journey as a 27-year cancer survivor. For more than two and a half decades, LIFE LINES has been a self-help source for people healing from catastrophic illnesses, surgeries, accidents, life shattering events, trauma, and loss. It provides a spiritual journey toward deep, personal renewal and redemption, to build self-esteem, recover from illness, overcome pain, begin a journey toward wellness and rebuild a strong sense of self-worth by improving Mind, Body & Spirit. About the Authors
JAN SHAW KING is an award-winning Artist and Storyteller. As a little girl, Jan was fascinated by listening to the original stories and tall tales her Dad and Grandpa had created out of thin air. In that tradition, she followed in their footsteps and created stories for her own children before becoming a children's book author illustrator. Jan's first influence was her Artist Grandmother who taught her to paint and draw the natural world around her. Jan's mentor was legendary Eloise Wilkin of Golden Books. Jan grew up to become a Cable Ace Award-winning Producer of children's television programs; Writer, Creator, Producer and Design Developer for Themed Entertainment, motion pictures and television for some of the world's top Studios, Brands and Networks. Jan and her husband, Jim King, have collaborated to write and illustrate their books of imaginative tales on WyldBlue Digital Press, an imprint of WBE Global LLC. WyldBlue Digital Press was launched to get back to one of the great loves of her life, telling magical, whimsical, inspirational stories for children and their families to read together.
JIM KING is a Storyteller, Writer, Artist, and Poet. Jim grew up literally as a toymaker's son. Jim has been a professional Creator, Illustrator, and Character Designer. Over 35-year career, Jim has worked in television, motion pictures, Intellectual Properties, theme park and resort industries, for some of the world's top Studios, Brands and Entertainment companies. Jim has written many series and designed thousands of characters and illustrations for more than 35 years. He was a published Poet at the age of 12, and has written hundreds of scripts, creative development projects, animation, and books in a wide range of genre, from children's books, fiction, to true-life stories and biographies.
