Synopsis
The poems in Rostislav Dizhur's book are inspired by the pain of current events, the author's personal connection to these issues, and his understanding of the severity of humanity's spiritual illness. The poems reflect the realities of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and events in Russia, the U.S., and around the world in the three and a half years since the war began.
The poems' themes and messages are diverse, ranging from direct condemnation of aggression, tyranny, and the dictator to discussion of ironic, curious, serious, and paradoxical thoughts; references to history; probing questions; and allegories. The author's lines call on everyone who is not indifferent to reject substituting principles of morality and justice for any interests or benefits.
Стихи, вошедшие в книгу Ростислава Дижура, продиктованы болью от происходящего в мире, и чувством личной причастности автора к этим бедам, и пониманием степени тяжести обострившейся духовной болезни человечества. В них отразились реалии вторжения российских войск на территорию Украины и события, которые случились в России, в США и в мире за три с половиной года после начала этой войны.
Тематика и посылы стихов разнообразны: от прямого осуждения агрессии, тирании и диктатора до ироничных и курьёзных, серьёзных и парадоксальных суждений, отсылок в историю, постановок вопросов, сопоставлений, иносказаний, связанных с проявлениями глупости, самодурства, раболепия, ограниченности, духовной слепоты современников. Строчки автора обращены ко всем неравнодушным людям с призывом не допускать подмены принципов морали и справедливости какими-либо интересами и
выгодами.
