"Pencils Count" is illustrated with unique, simplistic, creative illustrations that command attention. Some illustrations will even make you smile. An animated pencil with eyes, mouth, arms and gloves will guide you. This picture book is designed for the beginner reader who is also beginning to count. Four processes are utilized to assist in this process of counting and to anchor learning methods for the young child. They are, numeric symbols, written words, shape symbols, and poignant illustrations. You will find all four processes integrated throughout the pages of this book when counting from one to ten. Enjoy.
