Synopsis
In September 2020, Jim received a diagnosis of end-stage liver disease, which was accompanied by a Measure of End Stage Liver Disease (MELD) score indicating less than a 25% chance of surviving 90 days. However, rather than being the end of their story, Jim and his wife Kristi turned this challenge into an opportunity to rebuild their lives together.

About the Author
Jim is a man of adventure and resilience, who alongside his wife Kristi, divide their time between the vibrant city of Charlotte, North Carolina, and the pristine shores of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. They are the proud owners and operators of two thriving businesses, Virgin Islands Yacht Charters and Symphony Yachts. However, life had other plans for Jim when in September 2020, he received the devastating news that he had End Stage Liver Disease, with only a few months to live. Despite facing their darkest moments, Jim and Kristi remain steadfast in their gratitude for every precious moment they have been gifted. Through this journey, they have discovered that practicing gratitude has been the cornerstone of Jim's ongoing recovery, a remarkable testament to the power of gratitude.
