About the Authors

Dr. Deborah Dancy, daughter of Ms. Sadie Dancy, attended Birmingham City Schools. Graduating in the top ten percent of her high school graduating class, she received the Who's Who American High School Students Award for academic excellence. After graduating High School, Dr. Dancy attended Lawson State, Birmingham Southern and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, earning an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and Social Psychology, with a minor in Social Work. Graduating with honors, she also earned a master's degree in biblical counseling and Doctoral Degree in December 2010.

Monica Drish is the mother of one daughter and the grandmother of one granddaughter, while also operating as the Founder and CEO of P.U.S.H. @ 4 am Prayer Ministry, founded upon the scripture, "as iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend" Proverbs 27:17 (NLT).
