About the Author

Archpriest Pavel Soucek was a priest in the Orthodox Church for over twenty-five years, serving in several parishes and ending with Holy Assumption Church in Marblehead, OH. He received the rank of archpriest in 1992 and was given the right to wear the palitza in 2004. He was also a skilled iconographer, musician, and linguist. Father Pavel reposed in 2009.
