Synopsis

Calvin Steele Tappen IV, known to some as C4 due to his destructive lifestyle, and his father, known as CT for Calvin Steele Tappen III or Calvin the Third, are at the end of their financial rope. C4, approaching 40, has lived at CT's expense his entire life and CT has been relegated to his own private practice law firm due to some questionable ethical decisions at his former large firm.

Expensive lifestyles and a history of poor personal and professional choices have left them on the verge of destitution. They embark on a plan to quietly take over the business empire of CT's only remaining wealthy client.

Additional bad choices by C4 as they move toward their new life of well-funded leisure create a series of dramatic encounters that keep them off balance and struggling to complete their plan leading to a dramatic finish that neither of them saw coming.

Read this gripping novel to follow a father and son-both masters of self-sabotage-as they scheme to steal a fortune, only to discover that their own reckless impulses might destroy them before they can claim it.
