Synopsis

"Beckwith, best known for his Will and Betsy Black mysteries, takes us on yet another fun-filled and dangerous virtual vacation. Mild-mannered Michigander Monte Connors is the perfect protagonist to lead us through this vulture's nest of con artists and thieves lying in wait at a Caribbean resort. Fans of HBO's "White Lotus" will have a ball with Beckwith's latest!"

-Ace Atkins, New York Times Bestselling author

Clutching a winning lottery ticket was the last thing confirmed bachelor and menial church worker Monte Connors expected, but here he is on his way to Jamaica. Monte doesn't know it, but this trip will introduce him to an outside world that he never knew existed outside of his church and Highland Park, Michigan. The naïve Monte will discover that the world abounds with a wide variety of predatory sharks unlike anything he has ever encountered-with one common goal-making his money their money.
