R. Steven Holmes (Steve) was born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina. An athlete and artist from grade school through college, he started writing poetry and short stories for the college magazine. In his early twenties, he wrote lyrics and pursued a rap career. His love for sports and mentorship led him to coach youth football for sixteen years.Steve graduated from East Carolina University with a major in Information Systems. With an insatiable appetite for conquering challenges, Steve was a member of the East Carolina football team and an initiate of the Eta Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He has used his artistic talents to design book covers and starred in an online movie series. He is a software engineer, and also the founder and owner of Reign4ever clothing line (www.reign4ever.com), a brand he created to teach his sons entrepreneurship. They emphasize LIFE and LEGACY through sharing, caring and inspiring others. Steve's passion for writing, music, design, and coaching is an inspiration to the people's lives he's positively impacted. Steve currently lives with his family in North Carolina.
