About the Author

"Bishop Wells' life is a thread that connects his calling to his passion; his love for God and concern for the human race. Since birth, he had a connection with God that grew into an intimate relationship, becoming a Saint of God. Faithfully served for 15 years as co-pastor of Community and Holy Trinity Churches, in 1976 he became the full-time senior pastor of Holy Trinity Institutional COGIC. In 1985, he was elevated to the position of Jurisdictional Bishop for Western Michigan Jurisdiction. He's been a Jurisdictional Bishop for 34 years, served 2 terms with the National Trustee Board and the National Judiciary Board and elected to the Presidium of the International Church Of God In Christ. July 2014, Bishop Wells was presented an earned Doctor of Theology Degree from Midwest Theological University. He has received various civic and social community awards, such as the Muskegon County Bar Association, Muskegon Economic Growth Alliance and was the 1st recipient of the Rev Dr. Donald B. Adkins Leadership Award for Religion."
