Synopsis
Prologue :
With this book of poetry, I felt there are nerves that needed to be touched to see if people were really awake. Were they so asleep that they are no longer able to hear or feel anything that has to do with the continued struggle for the existence of our people?
Keep in mind that like minds think alike. Knowing that there are those who prefer sleep instead of consciousness, I offer a constant reminder that we are still in captivity, mentally physically, and on all the levels of our being here in America. It is long overdue that we start thinking of alternatives to the status quo.
