An earthquake decimates San Francisco's baseball stadium. Two players and their manager are trapped. With water rising, the trio crawls through a gash in the wall. Naked and penniless, they climb through the muck onto shore. Downtown San Francisco is on fire. They can not find their stadium, or any new buildings, or the parking lot with their fancy cars. No one has a cell phone to call for help.

About the Author
Former sports bar owner, sports columnist, comedy writer/produce/performer, and fact checker at Vanity Fair magazine, Steve Hermanos has been profiled by The New York Times, and been a frequent guest on sports radio. He authored three highly-praised books of baseball poetry, collected in O, Gigantic Victory Trilogy! A winning, kind, and funny Little League coach, Steve and his family live in northern California. Going, Going, Gone! is his first baseball novel.
