Synopsis

Written by Daddy and illustrated by his six-year-old son, Zen.

This story is about loving your child by acknowledging how they feel and your inner child too!

This book explores the most powerful love you can ever give your child: emotional connection. Emotional connection is about how well you acknowledge how your child feels. Many parents struggle with this—because their own feelings were never acknowledged when they were children.

This children's book is meant for all ages, big and small. It helps children feel loved by feeling seen and heard, while also helping adults reconnect with the little kid inside of them (their inner child). Only then can they fully see and acknowledge their own children.

Many emotional struggles in children come from a lack of emotional connection. This is not a book about gentle parenting, but about emotional parenting—when you parent your inner child emotionally, parenting and connecting with your child becomes a magical experience.

If your child struggles with anxiety, anger, or sadness, this book is a great place to begin understanding what they are feeling and why, so they can truly be free of it.

Michael's teachings come from his practice, Heal From the Ground Up. If you treat your feelings, and pain like an emotional weed and pull it from above the ground, the weeds just keep coming back. You have to pull these weeds from the root, to truly be free of them.
