Synopsis

Chandi loves the moon—but what’s she supposed to do if the moon likes her back?

In the world under the shattered moon, Chandi Choudary trains as a runner for the Church of Parkour at the Monastery of Unseen Waters. She has always heeded the call of duty. Until now. Her unique ability to purge nearby toxins made her useful to the church, but at sixteen, she’s beginning to have her own ideas about what she wants for her future.

And then a meteorite falls from the sky and into her hands.

With the routine of monastic life thrown into chaos by outside forces, Chandi and her siblings of the stride struggle to preserve the sanctuary they have created out of the remains of post-apocalyptic North America.

Ultimately, Chandi will have to discover what one girl can do to protect the ones she loves.

Chandi and the Moonstone is the first book of the Chandi Trilogy in the Shattered Moon series. You don't have to read the prior books to understand what's going on, but if you like Chandi's world, you'll like the rest of the series.
