This book is the ultimate guide to family fun in and around Milwaukee.

Find ideas for every season that will help you make memories to last a lifetime. Soak up summer with visits to new water parks and splash pads, berry picking spots, free summer concerts, and kid-friendly festivals. When fall hits, find the best apple orchards, pumpkin patches, and unique Halloween events. Make the most of winter with sledding and tubing hills, toboggan runs, ice skating rinks, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and holiday fun. And as the weather warms up again in the spring, learn about maple sugaring and venture out on a kid-friendly hike.

All year round, explore the arts, nature, live theater, museums, state parks, local tours, gardens, zoos, and festivals that make Milwaukee a great place for kids and families.

About this title

About the Author

In 2013, Calie Herbst, a former Spanish teacher with three little ones, was frustrated with how much time she spent poring over (too many) websites to find ways to make the most of her time with her family. So she founded MiltownMoms.com. Her goal was to find the best this city has to offer families and share it with other moms. In one place. Today, Calie and her team connect parents and caregivers with the best the city has to offer. You can hear Calie on WTMJ Wisconsin Morning News on Tuesday mornings. She's also been featured on Fox 6's "Real Milwaukee" and "Studio A," and TMJ4's "Wisconsin Tonight."
