About the Author

Dr. Caplan is a professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He has won prestigious awards for his research and mentorship, and his literary writing provides unique insight into the life of scientists at academic institutions. His first novel Matter Over Mind, was a quarterfinalist in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Competition.
