About the Author

Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, Dewayne Williams is a young man who has had a multitude of experiences that have given him the ability to relate to many people. Being a twin has given him opportunities that have enlightened him in many ways. As a youth, Dewayne was active in sports and enjoyed the fast life. A father by the age of 20, he currently has three beautiful children from his previous marriage. His children give him purpose to rise daily to ensure they are taken care of. He grew up in a single-parent household, yet he never allowed it to become a hindrance to doing his best at anything and everything he set his mind to, even when it appeared he failed. Working through many obstacles, Dewayne has managed to obtain his degree in Business and is currently working on his Doctoral Degree with an emphasis on Leadership. Dewayne is just a man who has faced several challenges - just as many men have. His passion is to be the best man he can be for his family, friends, and people he meets. His desire is to help those who find it difficult to help themselves.
