Mason Nichols is a former educator and lifelong learner who believes in the transformative power of storytelling to inspire growth and connection. Driven by a deep commitment to empathy and community, he wrote this book to emphasize the crucial role classroom environments play in nurturing understanding and compassion. Drawing from personal experience with his father's deployment, Mason opens up about the emotional journey of facing such a challenge and how community and friendship can bring hope.

Alyssa "Tora" Aman is a storyboard artist and illustrator originally from Michigan. They graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2019 with a BFA in Digital Media. Currently, they've just moved to the Los Angeles area and are obsessed with mini diorama kits.
