Synopsis

According to Christianity man is an enemy of God and does not seek him (Romans 3). This short work from Thomas Chalmers shows what is necessary to move one from a life of enmity towards God to one as a child of God. It is knowing, seeing, and tasting God as infinitely valuable. Humana beings are creatures whose hearts like nature detest a vacuum and so to expel the sin and selfishness in our hearts we must fill it something that is better and more satisfying, namely, Jesus Christ.
