About the Author

Wendy Grace Stevens leads an active lifestyle, spending a great deal of time in nature. She enjoys bicycling along the American River, paddling the lakes and rivers near her Sacramento home, and skiing in the Sierra and around the west. These pursuits give her keen appreciation of the natural world, which she seamlessly blends in poetry with her innate spirituality. Although Ms. Stevens has written and enjoyed language since grade school, writing poetry came late in life quite unexpectedly, at the insistence of a very persistent Muse.
