I use the my word "transreal" to refer to SF tales that mirror the author's own life. That is to say, the novel is about Rudy. The sqinks' motives are complex. One of them chops open our hero Oliver's head with a chrome axe. His brain is replaced by a small sqink inside his skull. Oliver's naked brain ends up in Sqinkland. His Carol goes after him.
