Synopsis

Who is Jesus Christ? Today, we encounter diverse and conflicting messages about the historical Jesus from a variety of religious and secular sources. Some hold to Christ, being the Son of God, as the greatest personality of history. Others consider Jesus as a great teacher, philosopher or prophet. And, a small segment views Jesus of Nazareth as a mere legend or figure of first-century folklore. The overwhelming source of the information we possess about Jesus originates from the Bible, and the New Testament in particular. Author and researcher Cecil Price provides inquiring readers an opportunity to personally examine what the Bible presents about Jesus with a distinct focus on the Gospel accounts of the New Testament. The words of Christ along with the descriptions of many eyewitnesses convey in expressive detail the exceptional life of this remarkable personality. What sets Jesus Christ apart from all others? In The Unique One, you will discover how: • the Bible compares to other ancient documents • Jesus Christ differs from the founders of other major religions • both Old and New Testaments harmonize the identity of the Messiah • major teachings of the Christian faith compare to other religions • the words and works of Jesus can improve your life If you are open to investigating for yourself what the Gospels, and some other biblical accounts, reveal about Jesus Christ you will benefit from this book.
