Synopsis
"The Sligo Journal," an award-winning journal, is a publication of the Creative Writing program of Montgomery College-Takoma Park/Silver Spring, under the Office of the Provost. It promotes the literary and visual arts of the communities as a joint effort of the faculty and students who take courses at Montgomery College's campuses. A series of events, including readings and exhibits in collaboration with the local communities of Takoma Park and Silver Spring, Maryland, take place to celebrate the work.
